Why am i getting text messages from live.com?

I have been getting the same thing. I just spent over an hour on the phone with Sprint to no avail. I e-mailed two premium text message places and they had no idea. Long story short... I finally got someone at Sprint that knew what I was talking about and I was given directions on how to go into my account online and block all messages from live.com. If you do not subscribe to text messaging, you can have your subscriber block ALL text messages that would prevent it also.

I had a problem like this once. I was getting 'Quote of the day' texts from a website %26amp; since I didn't have unlimited texts it was costing me a nickel a pop which then went up to $0.15. Most likely, this is happening if you just got a new number that someone had before you did %26amp; they had subscribed to a text service from live.com. Talk your carrier's customer service department. They may be able to block the texts or tell you how to get Live.com to stop. Do this quickly. If they can't help stop them, you may have to get a new phone number to avoid the texts. They may not charge you to change it if you don't wait too long to do it. I had to activate a new line when upgrading my phone to get away from my text problem because I put off changing it right away. I hope this helps. - Dar

I'm not sure why you are getting them but i started getting them also. The best bet would be to call your cell phone provider and have them block incoming text messages from anything ending in @live.com

I've been receiving these annoying text messages from @live.com, too. I called Sprint and they are blocking text messages from this company. They checked my account to see if I was billed, but nothing showed up yet. However, they told me to look over my bill when I receive it just to make sure this company wasn't charging me. If so, they would take off the charges. Funny thing, when I called the Sprint operator, he informed me that I was the 2nd person in a row to call about this problem!! So, don't waste any time, please call your service provider!
